Great to meet you!

Bienvenidos! My name is Carolina and I worked as a school counselor before becoming a licensed marriage and family therapist and an EMDR Certified Therapist.

My work has focused on raising awareness about modern-time oppression. I have extensively spoken about social justice, human trafficking, and intimate partner violence. Nowadays, I am focusing my practice on Women's Wellness offering specific care and support to women, 18 and up.

A bit about my approach to therapy

We begin by laying a strong foundation in understanding our protective system. During this process, we pay attention to and honor our internal protective parts. Once we have the necessary skills for self-regulation, we embark on a journey to reprocess traumatic events from a place of safety.

What you can expect from our first session

This transformative process allows you to gain insight into what happened and the many ways you managed to overcome adversity. While practicing self-compassion, you'll be able to release what no longer serves you, and rediscover your purpose, your connections with others, and your authentic self.
