Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 12 years of nursing experience and one year of experience providing psychiatric medication management and mental health care. I am passionate about reducing the stigma surrounding mental illness and psychiatric medications while helping my patients feel heard, empowered, and supported throughout their treatment journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach is rooted in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) principles and solution-focused brief therapy, and I strive to provide compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each individual's goals. In addition to my professional experience, I have gained a deep appreciation for the impact of mental health conditions such as PTSD, bipolar disorder, anxiety, OCD, depression, addiction, and alcoholism through personal experiences and meaningful relationships. These experiences have strengthened my empathy for those facing mental health challenges and reinforced my commitment to providing compassionate, individualized, evidence-based care.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, we'll take time to get to know one another, discuss your concerns, and identify your goals for treatment at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I strive to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental, and patient-centered environment where you'll feel heard, respected, and supported. My approach is to meet you where you are, without pressure, and work collaboratively to develop a treatment plan that aligns with your needs and goals.
