Great to meet you!

I am a LMFT who regularly supports adults and teens. I specialize in relationship issues, anxiety, depression, identity, self-esteem, stress management, and life transitions.

I earned my M.S. in Psychology at Cal Poly SLO and earned my B.A. in Psychology at UCSB. I have worked in a variety of settings including private practice, community mental health, and school-based programs. I am dedicated to learning about and utilizing the latest research and interventions to best support her clients.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My therapy style is warm, down-to-earth, and non-judgmental. I strongly believe people have the internal strengths to make positive change in their lives and I strive to support my clients in identifying and growing their strengths while increasing self-understanding. My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Systems Therapy, Attachment Based Therapy, and Positive Psychology, as well as other evidence-based treatment modalities.

What you can expect from our first session

I work from a person-centered therapy framework. Within sessions, I will ask you to be honest, vulnerable, and to be willing to challenge yourself. My role is not to give advice or answers, but to create space for you to explore yourself and develop deeper insights into what you already know. I strive to create a safe place for clients that allows for self-exploration, vulnerability, and personal growth.
