Great to meet you!

Hello, I'm Caroline! If you're reading this, you've already taken the first step for your mental health - finding a therapist. Let's see if I'd be a good fit for your current mental health needs!

I received my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of Alabama in 2019. I have been licensed as a professional mental health counselor since 2021 and as an addiction counselor since 2024. During the COVID-19 pandemic I worked in a mandated substance use rehabilitation program where I gained valuable experience working with clients with various substance use disorders, PTSD, grief, anxiety, depression, emotional regulation challenges, criminogenic needs, and relationship/family problems. Since 2022 I have provided individual therapy and couples therapy in various group practice settings. I particularly enjoy helping clients understand unresolved PTSD, whether from past abusive relationships, combat, or criminal activity. I also love helping clients who feel burdened by anxiety, depression, grief, and relationship problems.

My approach to therapy

I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, psychoanalysis, and emotion-focused therapy approaches to clarify connections between thoughts and beliefs, behaviors, and the unconscious that drives our habits and patterns. I utilize other therapeutic approaches to tailor to individual needs. Please reach out to see if we'd be a good fit. I look forward to working with you!

What you can expect from me

I am ready to partner with you to meet you where you are with compassion and non-judgment. As your therapist it is my goal to help you make sense of confusion caused by mental illness or life's circumstances and reach your goals for your true self!
