Great to meet you!

I am a compassionate and dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) committed to supporting adolescents (13+) and adults on their journey toward mental wellness. My goal is to create a safe, collaborative, and empowering space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported.

I hold a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric-Mental Health from Walden University, where I developed a strong foundation in holistic, evidence-based care. My approach blends clinical expertise with empathy and a deep belief in each person’s potential for healing and growth.

With over 20 years of experience in emergency and psychiatric nursing, I bring a deep understanding of patient care, crisis intervention, and acute mental health support. Now practicing as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), I draw on this rich clinical background to provide compassionate, comprehensive care tailored to each client’s unique needs.

As the owner of Hope Mental Health Clinic, I integrate medication management and therapy to provide personalized, whole-person care. I tailor each treatment plan to meet the unique needs of every individual—addressing mind, body, and spirit—while promoting resilience and long-term well-being.

Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, or simply seeking greater self-awareness, I’m here to help you restore balance, strengthen coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I take a holistic and individualized approach to mental health care, recognizing that each person's journey is unique. By integrating medication management with evidence-based therapy, I aim to provide a comprehensive, personalized treatment plan that addresses both biological and emotional aspects of well-being.

My goal is to create a collaborative and empowering space where patients feel heard, supported, and actively involved in their treatment decisions. I incorporate research-backed therapies and pharmacological interventions while also considering innovative and integrative strategies to ensure a well-rounded approach to healing.

I strive to meet each client where they are, fostering resilience, self-awareness, and long-term well-being in a compassionate, nonjudgmental environment.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients can expect expert medication management that is thoughtful, precise, and personalized. I conduct thorough assessments and make evidence-based decisions to prescribe and adjust medications as needed—always considering each individual's symptoms, lifestyle, and treatment goals. I also emphasize patient education, ensuring individuals feel informed, empowered, and actively involved in their treatment decisions.

In addition to medication management, therapy is a vital part of the healing process. Through open, collaborative conversations, we explore thoughts, emotions, and behaviors to build greater self-awareness and develop effective coping strategies. This process fosters clarity, insight, and emotional growth.

Clients can also expect to feel heard, supported, and respected in a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment. I strive to create a space where individuals can express their concerns openly and work toward meaningful change at their own pace, building resilience and confidence along the way.

My approach is holistic—recognizing that mental health is deeply intertwined with physical health and overall lifestyle. I take into account the full spectrum of a person’s well-being when creating treatment plans, promoting greater balance, emotional stability, and a lasting sense of empowerment in everyday life.
