Hi! I am an LICSW with over 5 years of experience working with children, adolescents, young adults and adults in various stages of life. While I enjoy working with all, my passion lies with working with adolescents and young adults. I believe that therapy is a partnership and I like finding the right therapist to finding a shoe that fits. If it fits, it is wonderful, and if it doesn't it-it won't work! My goal is to provide space for you to discuss and explore your challenges in ways that are rooted in self-love and self-compassion.

My approach to therapy is strengths-based, client forward, creative, open and flexible. Through using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy and Client Focused Therapy, I work with clients and support them as they work through and come to realize that they are truly the experts in their own lives.

It is my firm belief that the first session is simple 'get to know you.' I know and understand that seeking therapy is a vulnerable and overwhelming experience. I aim to focus the first session around rapport and relationship building. Through this, I will ask some background questions to help us scope what it is intended to work through in sessions.
