Getting started can be overwhelming; congratulations on completing the first step. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I believe our experiences in the variety of spaces we occupy have a huge impact on our identities. I work with a wide range of clients and specialize in substance use recovery, depression, ADHD, and grief counseling.
Therapy is successful when it is tailored to a person's specific needs. It's my job to help scaffold your self-exploration with clear language, boundaries, curiosity, and compassion. You're becoming more and more of your truest self, not fixing something broken.
In our first session, we'll talk about what you'd like to focus on and start to map out our territory. We'll get to know each other a bit and see whether we're a good fit; if you don't feel that we match well, I'll support you in identifying who or what approach might suit you better. I'm committed to understanding your experience regardless, and we'll work together at a pace that feels both accountable and sustainable.
