Great to meet you!

I have more than 15 years of experience in child welfare, behavioral health, and mental health, with a specialization in system improvements. Throughout my career, I've demonstrated a track record of leading innovative programs aimed at supporting children and families. Previously, I served as the CEO for the Children's Advocacy Center on the Treasure Coast and as the COO for Hibiscus Children’s Center.

My approach to therapy

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a psychotherapy approach primarily used to address trauma-related symptoms, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, depression, and other psychological distress. It was developed by psychologist Francine Shapiro in the late 1980s.

EMDR is based on the idea that traumatic experiences can overwhelm the brain's natural ability to process and integrate information.

What you can expect from me

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During their first session with me, clients can expect a warm and welcoming environment where they feel safe to share their concerns and experiences. My primary goal is to establish a strong therapeutic rapport built on trust, empathy, and understanding. Initially, we will spend time getting to know each other and discussing the client's reasons for seeking therapy, their current challenges, and their goals for treatment.
