Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Caroline, and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Minnesota. For the last five years, I have been providing therapy for people ages 3 to 98 years old in a variety of settings. Working with clients in urban community mental health, rural adolescent group home, rural in-home therapy, and hospital affiliated outpatient therapy has allowed me ample opportunity to learn how to best partner with clients to help them foster a more meaningful quality of life.

A bit about my approach to therapy

The therapy intervention I use most is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. This approach fosters greater psychological flexibility through learning to mindfully accept the present moment, taking the time to figure out what matters most to you, and building skills to choose actions that are in line with what matters most. I have found this therapy approach to be very helpful for ADHD/ ASD or parenting a child with ADHD/ ASD, parenting and co-parenting stress, Anxiety, CPTSD, and Substance Misuse.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients can expect to leave session with a much better understanding and acceptance of their own thoughts, behaviors, and complex life circumstances. Clients can also expect a written communication within 48 business hours of a session with insights and any suggested resources.
