Great to meet you!

Hello, I'm Carolyn. I want to help you feel more like yourself. Trauma, grief, stress, and change can all be uprooting to the self. I want to help you find your way back to you. I will empower you to find your voice, discover your desires, and explore the path that is right for you. It is a beautiful strength to ask for help. I would be honored to join you in that journey. Connection and understanding can help us all through the moments that feel most painful. No one should walk through life alone, if you'll allow me, I wish to walk along with you, and hold some of the weight.

My approach to therapy

I approach all my work with curiosity, empathy, and a desire to deeply know each of my clients. I allow each individual I meet with to explore with me openly. There is no timeline on healing, I wish to take time with each person, to help them in taking steps at their own pace. I will help you skill build and walk away with more tools. I will also challenge you to see patterns in your life and behavior. I also believe in highly ethical care and will always treat you with dignity and respect.

What you can expect from me

In the first session my goal is to give you space to evaluate me! I want you to feel comfortable and connected. Genuine connection is often the most important part of therapy, you get to decide if it is the right fit for you! Additionally, you can expect to provide history and explore goals for treatment.
