Great to meet you!
With more than 25 years of experience in behavioral health, I provide compassionate, collaborative counseling services to pre-teens, adolescents, and adults navigating emotional, behavioral, and life challenges. My clinical work is grounded in the belief that meaningful change occurs through a strong therapeutic partnership—one that fosters curiosity, motivation, and active participation in the counseling process.
I hold a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Through this specialized work, I have supported adolescents in processing trauma narratives, reducing shame and self-blame, and moving toward self-acceptance and emotional resilience—particularly around experiences that were outside of their control.
In addition to my professional training, my work is deeply informed by personal experience. I have walked alongside close family members through behavioral health and substance use challenges, which has strengthened my empathy, insight, and understanding of the complexities that individuals and families often face. This lived perspective allows me to approach therapy with humility, authenticity, and a strong appreciation for the courage it takes to seek help.
My goal is to support clients in developing insight, building coping skills, and reconnecting with their sense of agency—so they can move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and emotional well-being.
