Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with supervising privileges and a licensed health provider with many areas of professional and personal experiences. I have extensive knowledge in working with minority populations. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, career challenges and ADHD. I have counseled survivors of trauma, abuse and assault. and employee assistance program counseling employees and their families.

A bit about my approach to therapy

People can make better decisions if they have enough information and understand how their thoughts, behaviors and experiences impact them.

My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. As a counselor, I integrate person-centered, cognitive behavioral, solution focused, and humanistic therapies into my approach.

What you can expect from our first session

I will tailor our dialogue and treatment to meet the clients unique and specific needs. I hope that clients will be able to recreate their own realities in which they become the victor. My purpose is to help the clients recognize and embrace their strengths while normalizing their unique qualities.
