Hi! I’m Carolyn, a licensed independent clinical social worker/licensed clinical social worker practicing in West Virginia and Virginia since 2018. I strive to create a comfortable, supportive, and empowering environment so that clients can open up and feel a connection. I understand the difficulty of admitting that you need to talk a problem through with someone outside of your support system, therefore I prioritize practicing with warmth and compassion while utilizing a strengths-based approach to best fit the needs of my clients.

I have experience with the following treatment modalities: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, EMDR, and Trauma-Informed Therapy. I specialize in trauma and anxiety but also have experience with other diagnoses as well. I have experience working in both inpatient and outpatient settings with teens and adults.
