Great to meet you!

With 33 years of experience, I’ve had the privilege of supporting people through many different stages of life, challenges, and periods of change. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and seniors navigating concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, grief and loss, relationship and family challenges, health-related concerns, and life transitions.

My style is empowering, direct, and solution oriented. I strive to create a space where you feel respected and understood while helping you build on your strengths, gain clarity, and develop practical ways to move forward.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should reflect your individual needs, experiences, and goals. My role is to work alongside you as we better understand what you’re experiencing, recognize patterns, and identify changes that can make a meaningful difference in your life.

I draw from approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, narrative therapy, trauma response therapy, positive psychology, and strengths-based strategies. Together, we’ll find an approach that feels useful, manageable, and relevant to what you want to accomplish.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity to get to know one another, discuss what brings you to therapy, and begin identifying what you’d like to gain from our work together. You don’t need to know exactly where to begin. We’ll start with what feels most important to you.

You can expect me to be engaged, compassionate, and straightforward. I’ll listen without judgment, offer new perspectives, and help you recognize the strengths and resources you already have. My goal is for therapy to give you greater clarity, practical tools you can use beyond our sessions, and confidence in your ability to navigate challenges and create meaningful change.
