Great to meet you!

Hello! I am a trauma informed psychodynamic therapist with an eye on holistic healing and an integrative approach to care. I draw from Attachment Theory, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Somatic Therapy, IFS, and Compassionate Inquiry. I have been providing psychotherapy for 10 years and additionally have extensive experience in the social work field helping people ease the pain expressed in their depression, substance use, and grief.

My approach to therapy

I believe in the healing power of relationship. So, with nurturance, compassion, and a smattering of humor, I'll provide a safe space for you to be, explore, and process the roots of your distress. Together we can help you cope with the unpredictability of life. We will identify any unconscious core beliefs which limit your potential, relationships, or sense of ease with life, and "rewrite" them so that they align with what feels authentically true for you.

What you can expect from me

Following our first session you will probably know if we are a good match. As we get to know each other, and you share with me your reasons for entering therapy, we'll hone in on your goals and how to work toward them. You'll have a sense of me and how I work, and my hope is that you will walk away with a sense of hope and possibility. When our pain is held with curiosity and compassion, positive change is doable. I look forward to accompanying you on your healing journey.
