Great to meet you!

Welcome! I’m Carolynn White, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over a decade of experience. My therapy is grounded in systems thinking, inspired by Gregory Bateson, viewing individuals and their relationships as part of broader, interconnected systems. I help clients see challenges as part of larger patterns influencing behavior and emotions. My goal is to shift perspectives, making new sense of old problems and fostering greater awareness for meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is non-pathologizing, honoring, and curious. I see each client as unique, shaped by their experiences and relationships, not by diagnoses or labels. I create a space that honors your story and complexities. Together, we explore patterns, beliefs, and emotions with curiosity, fostering deeper self-awareness. This compassionate and collaborative process encourages transformative growth, inviting a more meaningful connection with yourself and others.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to leave our sessions with thoughtful reflections and deeper insights into their patterns, relationships, and behaviors. I believe that the energy and effort brought into therapy directly shape the outcomes you experience. By actively engaging in the process, you will uncover new perspectives and develop practical tools for navigating challenges. Ultimately, what you take away is a clearer sense of self and the capacity for meaningful, lasting change.
