My approach to therapy

Through various therapy techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused CBT, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment therapy I will work with you to help you reach your full potential!

What you can expect from me

During our first session, our primary goal is for us to get to know one another. We’ll start by reviewing the 'housekeeping' items like confidentiality and logistics to ensure you feel secure. From there, I’ll invite you to share what brings you to therapy at this time and what you hope to achieve.

Think of this as a collaborative conversation where we begin to map out your history and identify specific goals. Most importantly, it’s an opportunity for you to see if my style feels like the right fit for your journey. There is no pressure to 'perform' or share everything at once; we move at a pace that feels safe for you.
