Great to meet you!

I received my BSSW from FIU and then went onto complete my Masters Degree at Barry College. I have been working with teens and adults dealing with mental health and addiction. I completed my doctorate in Social Work with a concentration in Family Therapy. I am an approved clinical supervisor and clinical fellow licensed by the state of Florida. I received my MCAP and became a Clinical Director. One of my favorite quotes to live by is “There is always hope, when you want to give up.”

My approach to therapy

When hurricane Andrew struck South Florida I worked in a mobile crisis for over a year assisting displaced families and performing grief therapy. I have had success working with heroin addicts and the use of medication assisted treatment combined with individual therapy. My life is a journey helping others with addiction through family therapy and mindfulness of the human spirit. I have guided many clients to a sober life with a combination of individual and family counseling.

What you can expect from me

A new approach towards life and a new found strength to overcome obstacles and start enjoying their lives.
