Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University, earned in 2024, and three years of experience in the counseling field. I work in private practice and with Hope Restored, providing individual counseling and serving as a therapist for week-long marriage intensives. I am EMDR-trained in trauma treatment and Focus Marital-trained, with a passion for helping individuals and couples navigate challenges and build stronger relationships. My areas of focus include anxiety, trauma, grief, life transitions, relationships, personal growth, and the unique challenges women experience during perimenopause and postmenopause. I also enjoy supporting men as they navigate life transitions, relationships, and emotional well-being. My person-centered approach emphasizes meeting each client where they are, offering a safe and supportive space to explore their stories, recognize patterns, and work toward meaningful change. It is my privilege to walk alongside individuals and couples as they pursue healing, connection, and a more fulfilling life.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process, so my person-centered, integrative approach focuses on meeting you where you are and tailoring our work to your unique needs and goals. I draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Narrative Therapy to explore emotional connections, strengthen relationships, and support meaningful change. I especially enjoy incorporating story work to help clients recognize patterns, understand how past experiences shape their present, and discover new possibilities for the future. My goal is to provide a safe, compassionate space where you feel heard and understood while developing practical tools to navigate life's challenges. Together, we will work toward greater self-awareness, healthier relationships, and a more fulfilling life.

What you can expect from me

Beginning therapy can feel like a big step, but you don't have to have all the answers before we begin. My goal is to create a welcoming, supportive space where you feel safe sharing your story at your own pace. During our first session, we'll explore what brings you to counseling, your experiences and strengths, and what you hope to gain from therapy. Whether you're coming individually or as a couple, we'll begin identifying patterns, understanding your concerns, and establishing goals for our work together. You don't have to know exactly where to start; we'll take the next steps together, one conversation at a time.
