Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families impacted by trauma. My clinical background includes extensive work at a Child Advocacy Center and a Rape Crisis Center, where I supported survivors of sexual abuse, domestic violence, and complex trauma. I specialize in trauma recovery, attachment wounds, anxiety, depression, grief, and life transitions. My approach is trauma-informed, inclusive, and collaborative, grounded in the belief that healing happens within safe relationships and within the context of each person’s lived experience. I am trained in somatic approaches, EMDR, and Brainspotting, and I tailor treatment to each client’s pace, focusing first on safety and stabilization before processing difficult experiences. I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work and am committed to helping clients reconnect with their strengths, build resilience, and move forward with clarity and intention.

My approach to therapy

My style is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed, with a strong focus on safety, pacing, and trust. I work with clients impacted by sexual abuse, domestic violence, complex trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and life transitions. Early treatment emphasizes stabilization, coping skills, and building internal and external resources so clients feel grounded before processing deeper experiences. When appropriate, I integrate somatic approaches, EMDR, and Brainspotting to help process trauma that feels stuck or overwhelming. I center each client’s pace and autonomy, recognizing that healing is not linear and must feel safe at every step. My goal is to help clients reconnect with themselves, strengthen resilience, and move forward with greater clarity, meaning, and intention.

What you can expect from me

In therapy with me, goals are individualized and centered on what matters most to you. Common outcomes include feeling safer in your body and emotions, reducing symptoms of trauma, anxiety, or depression, and developing stronger coping and grounding skills. Clients often work toward improved emotional regulation, healthier boundaries, and greater self-trust. As therapy progresses, many experience a deeper connection to themselves, increased clarity about their experiences, and the ability to make meaning of what they’ve been through. The overall aim is to support healing that allows you to move forward with greater stability, resilience, and intention.
