Great to meet you!

Trauma can change the way you see yourself, others, and the world around you. Whether you've experienced domestic violence, childhood abuse, or other painful life events, you may find yourself feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or constantly on guard. Healing is possible, and you do not have to navigate that journey alone. As a licensed counselor with experience working with survivors of trauma, I provide a safe, supportive space where you can process your experiences, regain a sense of control, and move toward a life that feels more fulfilling and meaningful.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in evidence based trauma treatment. I specialize in helping clients understand how trauma impacts thoughts, emotions, relationships, and daily life. I frequently utilize Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), an effective approach for helping individuals challenge unhelpful beliefs that may have developed after traumatic experiences. Together, we work to build insight, strengthen coping skills, and create new ways of understanding yourself that support healing, resilience, and growth.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a foundation of trust and safety. We will discuss what brings you to therapy, the challenges you are facing, and what you hope to gain from the process. You are welcome to share at your own pace, and there is no pressure to tell your entire story right away. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the work we can do together as you move toward healing and recovery.
