Great to meet you!

I have a Masters in Nursing with a specialization as a psychiatric nurse practitioner from SUNY Upstate Medical University. My nursing career was mainly in emergency departments and cardiology. With that, I have learned to relate to people in a compassionate manner on their worst days. I have brought that understanding and kindness to psychiatry and recognize the value of the client's personal trauma, family life, and past experiences and how that shapes the way they view this process.

My approach to therapy

My approach is to combine the client's personal preferences with my knowledge and experience to create a treatment plan to meet the client's needs. I prefer to create a partnership to address the client's symptoms rather than a patriarchal approach.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to get the client feeling as good as possible with the least amount of medication as possible. I hope that clients feel heard after meeting with me and can feel hopeful about the future knowing that there is a solution to their problems.
