Great to meet you!

Hi there! I’m Carrie, and I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who’s passionate about helping women live the life they were created for. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, grief, stress, burnout, or the everyday challenges of life, you don’t have to face it alone—I’m here to help.

I especially enjoy working with women and those navigating faith-related questions. Therapy can be a wonderful space to explore your beliefs, rediscover your strengths, and reconnect with your purpose in a safe and supportive environment.

Together, we’ll identify your goals, build new skills, and create meaningful changes that help you feel more grounded and fulfilled. My goal is for you to feel comfortable, accepted, and hopeful as we work toward the life you want to live.

If you’re ready to take the next step toward healing and growth, I’d love to walk alongside you on your journey. Let’s get started!

My approach to therapy

I primarily use talk therapy with elements of Narrative, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Strengths-Based, Motivational Interviewing, and Systems Theory.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is designed to help you get to know each other. We’ll take some time to discuss what’s bringing you to therapy and what you’d like to achieve through it. This is a safe and judgment-free space to share your story and start building a foundation for growth. I’ll ask a few questions to learn more about your background, current concerns, and goals, but there’s no pressure to share more than you’re comfortable with. If desired, we will discuss how faith or spirituality may play a role in your healing process. Together, we’ll begin to create a plan that feels right for you. Most importantly, my goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the path ahead.

My counseling approach is flexible and tailored to meet your needs. I draw on several evidence-based methods—including CBT, ACT, motivational interviewing, family systems therapy, and trauma-informed care—to help you build insight, develop healthy coping skills, and create meaningful change. Together, we’ll work to understand your experiences, strengthen relationships, and support healing in a way that feels safe, compassionate, and empowering.

I use a strengths-based approach, which means we focus on what’s right with you—not just what’s hard right now. Together, we’ll identify your unique abilities, values, and past successes to help you move forward. By building on your strengths, you can gain confidence, find hope, and create lasting positive change in your life.

A supportive approach to counseling means you don’t have to face life’s challenges alone. In our sessions, you’ll find a safe and understanding space to talk, process emotions, and feel heard. Together, we’ll focus on your strengths, build confidence, and work toward solutions that help you feel more balanced and supported in daily life.
