Great to meet you!

After working in various fields as a licensed therapist with a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology over the course of 23 years, I have discovered that life can be very challenging to say the least! However people are far more resilient than they generally know. My passion in this field is to assist clients by guiding them to their innate emotional well being. My primary focus is in helping adults, ages 18 and up, through life transitions, depression, grief, anxiety, and trauma.

My approach to therapy

One of my specializations is assisting clients through trauma by utilizing EMDR, guided imagery, relaxation techniques, and teaching from an insight based approach. I've also worked in the field of addiction for the past six years where I have been privileged in assisting clients with identifying underlying issues which led to the creation of addiction.

What you can expect from me

It is important that a warm, non-judgmental environment is created where people feel safe in processing their beliefs, struggles, and past behaviors. This is the environment I enjoy creating, which allows clients to gain insights, step out of shame-based thinking, and learn a new understanding of how our psychological experience plays out! The primary goal is to move through the issues and and learn a healthier way to be present in different areas of your life.
