Great to meet you!

I am a dual-diagnosis therapist and licensed clinical social worker with 10 years in the counseling field with a focus on trauma and substance abuse. My passion is helping those that have experienced pain in their lives to understand the influence those experiences have on their life journey and to break free of unhealthy coping patterns that are keeping them feeling heavy, stuck, and burnt out.

My approach to therapy

I take an eclectic approach to therapy and adjust what therapeutic modalities I use to best fit the needs and goals of my clients. My approach is most aligned with Humanistic theories with the integration of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) for skill building. Regardless of what therapeutic model we work from, I steadily maintain a trauma-informed approach to our work together. This means that I diligently strive to offer an environment of safety and support where my clients have autonomy over the direction and pace at which we work

What you can expect from me

In our first session together we will explore areas in your life that are bothering you and come up with a game plan to address your concerns.
