Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome! My name is Carrie Rose and I am a licensed clinical social worker. My background as a social worker includes working with a diverse population across all ages, genders, and walks of life. These experiences have strengthened my ability to connect with people from many different backgrounds with compassion, authenticity and respect. Therapy is NOT about being perfect -- it's about becoming more aware, more empowered, and more connected to the life you want to live.

My approach to therapy

With many years of both life and professional experience under my belt--enough to earn wisdom, perspective, and a healthy sense of humor--I bring a compassionate, straightforward, and down-to-earth approach to therapy. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, empowered and comfortable being yourself--messy thoughts, dark humor, awkward moments and all. Together, we'll explore what's working, what's not and what changes you hope to make in your life. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, parenting, low self-esteem, aging, or simply feeling stuck. I'll work alongside you to set realistic and achievable goals tailored to your individual needs at a pace that feels manageable and meaningful to you.

And remember--growth takes time, patience, and a little humor along the way.

I would be honored to support you in your journey!

What you can expect from me

On your first session, we will spend time discussing your current concerns, personal history, relationships, strengths, stressors, and the experiences that have shaped your life. We will also explore what brings you to therapy, the areas of your life you would like to improve or better understand, and the goals you hope to achieve through the therapeutic process.

You are encouraged to ask questions, share any concerns, and determine whether the therapeutic relationship feels like a good fit for your needs. You are encouraged to show up exactly as you are--without pressure, judgment, or expectations to have everything figured out.
