Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Carrie Siegel, LCSW. I help adults and young adults navigate depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, major life transitions, trauma, self-esteem, and postpartum mood disorders using a supportive, evidence-based, eclectic approach, blending Psycho-dynamic, CBT, and EMDR. My goal is a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you can find healing and growth.

My approach to therapy

I try to be as open, curious, warm, non-judgmental and empowering as possible in my work with clients. I believe everyone is the expert in their own life and I never try to assume or impose my own beliefs or opinions. I love being able to help shine a flashlight on things clients haven't explored yet or make connections that might help to explain a pattern, thought, or belief that has been troubling. I really empower clients to make their own decisions and give my support, guidance, and therapeutic knowledge along the way.

What you can expect from me

I hope my clients can expect a warm and welcoming environment upon the first session. There will be a lot of thoughtful, engaging, and inquisitive questions to better understand what my client is currently going through, what brought them to therapy now, as well as explore where they came from and how their past experiences have shaped and influenced them. We will explore my client's goals and expectations for therapy and come up with a game plan of how to reach those goals together.
