Great to meet you!

I have been in the field of Social Work for over 25 years. Over these years I have had the pleasure of working with adults and older adults dealing with everything from life transitions, depression, anxiety, and alcohol abuse to major mental illness and end of life issues. I enjoy using my educational and personal life experience to inform my practice.

My approach to therapy

My approach is active and direct but very collaborative.

I believe that therapy should be non-judgmental and safe.

Therapy is hard work but can and should also be fun with humor added when appropriate.

What you can expect from me

Above all my hope is that my clients feel heard. I sincerely hope that my clients come away from sessions feeling a sense of relief from symptoms or at least a plan for dealing with the problems that brought them to me.
