Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have over 20 years of experience working in the behavioral health field. I have been a psychotherapist for the past nine years and I love to help my client's in finding the spark of joy in their lives again and discovering a sense of peace and purpose.

I obtained my Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Louisville in 2017, prior to that I completed my bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Oregon. I have specialized training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Gestalt Therapy and Abandonment Recovery Therapy. I tailor treatment to my client's unique goals by integrating evidence-based practices with compassion, curiosity, and a solutions-focused and forward thinking lens.

My professional experience includes serving as the System of Care Manager for a large outpatient behavioral health clinic, providing crisis counseling for a behavioral health crisis line and delivering outpatient therapy to individuals and families at several outpatient clinics through-out the Phoenix area before opening my own private practice, Brilliance Counseling

I believe every person has the capacity for growth, resilience, and healing. My goal is to provide a supportive environment where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to make meaningful changes that extend beyond the therapy office and into your everyday life.

My approach to therapy

I have specialized training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Gestalt Therapy, and Abandonment Recovery Therapy. I also utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Jungian psychology, Person-Centered and solutions-focused approach.
