Great to meet you!

I am a psychotherapist with a background in the performing arts and a deep interest in how our personal stories shape who we are and who we can become. Before entering the field of mental health, I spent over a decade studying and working in theater.

My work in the arts cultivated a lifelong curiosity about human emotion, motivation, and the ways our experiences influence the roles we inhabit in our lives and relationships. This interest ultimately led me to pursue a Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Columbia University. I have worked with adults (18-64 years) as a care coordinator and mental health therapist in both clinic and private practice settings.

My approach to therapy

I work with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, and issues related to motivation and life direction. I believe that every person has the capacity for growth and the right to pursue their own definition of health and well-being. My goal is to help you better understand yourself and create a path forward that feels authentic, fulfilling, and sustainable.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to begin getting to know one another and to talk about what brings you to therapy. We can start wherever feels most natural and, together, begin making sense of what is happening in your life.

I’ll be curious about your story—your experiences, relationships, circumstances, hopes, and the things that matter most to you. We’ll talk about what you would like to understand, change, or work toward, and begin thinking together about how therapy might help.

The first session is also a chance for you to get a sense of me and what it might be like to work together. I believe the therapeutic relationship is an important part of the work, and finding the right fit matters. My hope is that you feel comfortable being yourself, asking questions, and deciding whether our work together feels right for you.
