Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Houston, TX offering tele-health sessions across Texas. My path to mental health care began in the classroom — after years as a teacher, I noticed a growing disconnect in my students' emotional well-being and felt called to go deeper. That curiosity led me back to school, where I fell in love with mental health work. Today, I bring that same commitment to understanding and connection to my private practice, with a special focus on working with older adults. My dual background as an educator and mental health professional gives me a uniquely grounded, relatable style — I meet clients where they are and help them make sense of what they're carrying.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, practical, and deeply rooted in my belief that connection is the foundation of healing. Drawing from my years working with students and families, I create a space where clients feel genuinely heard — not judged. I focus on helping clients understand the patterns in their lives, build resilience, and move toward the goals that matter most to them. For older adults navigating life transitions, I bring patience, cultural sensitivity, and a real appreciation for the wisdom my clients bring into the room.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is all about getting to know you — your story, what's brought you to therapy now, and what you're hoping to work toward. I keep things conversational and low-pressure. There's no script and no rush. You'll leave with a clearer sense of what working together could look like, and I'll leave with what I need to tailor the work specifically to you.
