Great to meet you!

Hello from Dr. Fields at Seaside Psychology. With a robust background in diverse therapeutic settings ranging from residential eating disorder treatment centers to outpatient therapy, I bring a wealth of experience to my practice. I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Certified Eating Disorder Specialist who treats a variety of clinical issues including anxiety, depression, PTSD, relationship issues and eating disorders.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in creating a deep, empathetic understading of your experience, while utlizing evidence-based therapies like cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness and exposure techniques. Therapy sessions are designed to be collaborative focusing on building a strong therapeutic relationship that fosters real progress and mastery of coping skills in a supportive enviornment. We will work together to identify areas where you are stuck in life and develop strategies for getting unstuck.

What you can expect from our first session

Dr. Fields ' approach in therapy is a combination of empathetic and direct. You can expect to learn a framework of skills that you can take from your appointments and use outside of session. Dr. Fields is known for her ability to remember details shared with her by her clients which helps in building a strong therapeutic relationship.
