Casey received her BSW at Providence College and her MSW at Rhode Island College. She has extensive experience working with a variety of client populations, including foster families, children in need of specialized emotional and behavioral care, and adults and teens with a variety of presenting concerns. Casey specializes in working with clients with extensive, complicated trauma histories, chronic pain and chronic illness, and body image and eating concerns.
Casey is a firm believer in aligning herself with her clients. She defers to what a client wants and needs out of treatment and does not focus on having her own agenda for sessions. Casey collaborates with clients to help them make positive change for themselves and empower themselves through treatment.
Casey focuses on creating a nonjudgemental environment for her clients. No topic is off-limits. She encourages her clients to share what they need to share and she works with her clients to clearly define their goals for treatment.
