Great to meet you!

I work with individuals, ages 18-35, and offer in-person and virtual sessions. In addition to being a therapist, I am a professional artist. While teaching college art classes, I worked with young adults who struggled with life problems that felt insurmountable but could be overcome with support. I decided to become a mental health counselor to help young adults find their footing and help them see just how strong they are. I have focused my continued education in areas that are common among young adults, like trauma, adjustment disorder, and family/relationship problems.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach starts with hearing your story. I am authentic and humorous and offer a space free of judgement. You are the expert of your life and know what you want. We will explore strengths, values, and your ultimate life picture. This is an opportunity to understand your experiences and your journey.

What you can expect from our first session

Sometimes going to therapy can make us feel empowered. Other times, it can leave us feeling drained and sad. All of our feelings are simply information, which means that through therapy, we can begin to make sense of ourselves.
