Great to meet you!

Hello, my name is Casey Schlesman. I consider myself a North Carolina native, although I grew up as a military child and lived in multiple states. I moved to the Richmond area in 2022 and loving it! My passion for helping others started at an early age, and I always knew my career would reflect that. Being a therapist is where I found that my passion for others could really come to fruition.

I attended Methodist University where I majored in Social Work, double minored in Psychology and Professional Tennis Management. I went on to receive my Master’s in Social Work at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.

I have worked with a wide range of clients throughout my years of pre-licensed work and licensed work. I have found that I am passionate about working with teens, young adults and women.

When I am not working I love spending time with my Husband, 1 year old daughter and our dog!

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative. I want to partner with my clients to help them achieve their goals and make changes. I believe everyone has a story and it is a privilege to be a small part of someone's story.

What you can expect from me

A first session with me will look like a "get to know you" session. My goal is for you to feel comfortable to share what brings you to therapy and start your growth journey.

I cannot wait to connect with you!
