I am native to Jacksonville, FL, and discovered my passion for helping other's while attending the University of North Florida's Clinical Menth Health Counseling program. Upon graduation, I began working extensively in crisis intervention and inpatient care. Through my work in crisis stabilization, I have discovered a drive to help individuals and families throughout varying periods of their lives in an outpatient setting.
Within the therapeutic environment, I strive to provide a welcoming and open-minded space where anyone can come to process the varying obstacles that life throws at you. I connect and utilize various theory's including, but not limited to, internal family systems therapy, mindfulness-based practices, and CBT approaches. I primarily come from a person-centered perspective, and encourage communication and finding out together what works best for you within your own life.
I recognize that reaching out for counseling can be an intimidating jump and I hope to provide a safe and judgement-free space to process when you land. I strive to provide an affirming space that promotes self-empowerment and growth.
