Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a background in trauma-informed care, identity work, and nervous system regulation. I earned my MSW from Western New Mexico University, where I specialized in trauma and emotional development, and since then I’ve worked in schools, hospice, community mental health, and private practice. I’ve supported children, teens, and adults, but my focus now is helping people who have spent most of their lives taking care of others reconnect with their own needs, boundaries, and sense of self.

I take a steady, grounded, and human approach. I understand what it’s like to move through life on autopilot or feel distant from your own needs. In therapy, we slow things down enough to hear yourself again. Together, we work on boundaries, identity, nervous system regulation, and learning how to live in a way that feels like you — not the version of you that’s always performing or holding everything together.

My approach to therapy

I work collaboratively and at your pace. We’ll talk through the patterns that have shaped your sense of responsibility, identity, and emotional energy. I use DBT, ACT, and polyvagal-informed strategies to support nervous system balance, along with reflective conversation that helps you understand yourself more deeply. Therapy with me is steady, conversational, and real — no pressure to be perfect or “do it right.”

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity to slow down, get to know each other, and understand what you’ve been carrying. I’ll ask about what’s working, what’s not, and what you hope will feel different in your life. I prioritize creating a space where you feel safe, seen, and not rushed. Many clients leave the first session feeling relief — not because everything is solved, but because they’re no longer holding things alone. Together, we’ll begin shaping a path forward that feels supportive, doable, and meaningful.
