Great to meet you!

Clients should know that I am compassionate, warm, and genuinely invested in their growth and well-being. I bring an easygoing and caring presence that helps people feel safe, heard, and free to be themselves without judgment. I naturally lead with kindness, patience, and understanding, while also empowering clients to recognize their strengths and ability to overcome challenges. My goal is to create a supportive space where clients feel valued, encouraged, and confident in their journey toward healing and personal growth.

My approach to therapy

I work with clients from a compassionate, client-centered, and strengths-based approach. My style is warm, easygoing, and supportive, which helps clients feel safe enough to open up and explore their thoughts, emotions, and life experiences without fear of judgment. I believe in meeting clients where they are while empowering them to recognize their resilience, strengths, and ability to grow.

My focus is helping clients develop emotional regulation, healthier coping skills, self-awareness, and stronger communication patterns. I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, mindfulness, and psychoeducation to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

I specialize in working with children, adolescents, adults, and families who are navigating anxiety, trauma, behavioral challenges, family conflict, self-esteem concerns, and life transitions. I am especially passionate about supporting youth and parents with emotional outbursts, coping skills, family dynamics, and crisis prevention planning.

My goal is to create a healing environment where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect their first session with me to feel safe, welcoming, and free of judgment. My goal is to create a calm and supportive environment where they feel comfortable sharing at their own pace. The first session is really about getting to know who they are, what brought them to therapy, and what they hope to gain from the process.

I spend time learning about their current concerns, emotional experiences, relationships, strengths, and any past challenges or stressors that may be affecting them. I also want clients to feel empowered, so I encourage open communication and collaboration from the very beginning.

Together, we begin identifying goals for therapy, such as improving emotional regulation, reducing anxiety, strengthening communication, healing from trauma, building self-esteem, or improving family relationships. I also help clients leave the first session with at least one practical coping strategy or insight they can begin using right away.

Most importantly, clients can expect a space where they feel heard, supported, and empowered to grow.
