Cassandra Anderson-Monroe is a board-certified psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner who has earned a Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree. Between her time as a registered nurse and an advanced practice registered nurse, she has gained experience in providing psychiatric and mental health services and has worked in a wide variety of settings including inpatient units, outpatient practices, transitional living facilities, and community mental health centers.

My approach to therapy

She prides herself with being a culturally sensitive “people-person”. She is non-judgmental and has the basic understanding that as humans we all want live our best lives and be the best version of ourselves. She cares. She has experience in assessing and treating psychiatric and mental health disorders such as, major depressive disorders, generalized anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorders, not all inclusive.

What you can expect from me

At the initial evaluation, she plans to develop a therapeutic relationship and understanding of her client’s needs, with the goal of developing an individualized patient-centered treatment plan. She looks forward to working with you on your path of emotional well-being.
