Great to meet you!

I am a licensed psychotherapist who specializes in working with women of all ages. I have a passion in supporting my clients in managing life transitions, relationship issues, anxiety, grief, depression, illness, sleep, menopause, aging, body image, eating issues and more. I want for you to function well in your life with energy, happiness, free of guilt or shame with healthy self-esteem, and coping strategies. My work through the years has allowed me to become a skilled listener who can "read between the lines" and help you discover negative thought patterns and beliefs that affect how you feel and function in your every day life. You may feel overwhelmed, anxious or unhappy in many ways right now, but I know that you can feel better and make great progress. Please contact me if you have any questions. :)

My approach to therapy

Years of experience allow me to understand what needs to "shift" within the mind and body in order to feel calm, centered and capable in your life. We will work at your pace, within a framework you feel most comfortable. I rely on an holistic approach and evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) and psychoanalysis. I always work from a strength-based perspective and when appropriate, it can be very helpful in incorporate spirituality, mindfulness, breath-work and other techniques. Most importantly, my goal is for you to feel better as quickly as possible. All sessions are client-centered, trauma-informed, and usually very productive.

What you can expect from me

The first session is platform for you to be heard. I want to know what your reasons are for seeking therapy and what you would like to accomplish in our time together. I always offer a safe, neutral, non-judgemental space for you to express yourself. I will listen, ask some questions, and we will plan the best way for you to feel better and accomplish your goals. Usually I am able to give your fresh insight and hope.
