Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Cassandra, and I'm glad you're here. If you've been feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, stuck in patterns that are hard to break, struggling with obsessive thoughts, navigating depression, or feeling the impact of substance use on your life or relationships, you don't have to face it alone. Starting therapy can feel intimidating, but it can also be the beginning of meaningful change. As a psychologist, I work with adults, couples, and families to create a supportive space where you can feel understood, gain clarity, and build practical tools to move forward with greater confidence and hope.

I earned my PhD from Northwestern University and have specialized training in treating anxiety, OCD, depression, alcohol and substance use concerns, relationship challenges, panic, and anger management. I enjoy helping people uncover the patterns keeping them stuck while building healthier ways of coping, communicating, and connecting with themselves and others.

My approach to therapy

I strive to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are, without fear of being judged or misunderstood. Together, we'll explore what's contributing to your current challenges, identify patterns that may no longer be serving you, and develop practical strategies that fit your life. Whether you're working through anxiety, OCD, depression, relationship difficulties, or substance use concerns, we'll move at a pace that feels comfortable while keeping your goals at the center of our work. I believe meaningful growth comes from feeling safe enough to be honest, supported enough to take risks, and empowered enough to create lasting change outside of therapy.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is simply an opportunity for us to get to know each other. You don't need to have everything figured out or know exactly what to say. We'll talk about what brought you to therapy, what's been weighing on you, and what you're hoping will be different in your life. I'll ask questions to better understand your experiences, answer any questions you have, and work with you to develop a plan that feels realistic and personalized. My goal is for you to leave your first session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful that meaningful change is possible. Taking the first step takes courage, and I'm honored to be part of that journey with you.
