Great to meet you!

My degree is a master's level in psychology from the University of Wisconsin. I have been practicing counseling for over twenty years. I have my own practice with cognitive therapy being my main focus. I also have a background in EMDR and A.R.T, as well as the Gottman method for couples. I work with individuals, couples and families helping them to resolve sticky issues.

My approach to therapy

My main modality is cognitive. In simplest terms, that means helping people change their thought processes so that they can adapt better. The client's well-being is always a priority. I do give homework to enhance the short time I see a person. I find that providing short assignments can be helpful.

What you can expect from me

The client's well-being is the most important thing. I like to remain relaxed and open be a good listener, and be understanding and helpful.
