Great to meet you!

Hello! You made it... YAY!

If you're here, you've already taken one of the hardest steps. Choosing to make space for yourself can be easy to put off in the midst of busy life where your own needs can easily be placed on the back burner. I’m so glad you’re here.

I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals, children, adolescents, and families across a variety of settings, including schools, community mental health, crisis response, group homes, and with survivors of sexual assault. These experiences have shaped my belief that every person's story deserves to be met with compassion, curiosity, and respect.

Whether you're balancing multiple roles, navigating life's transitions, healing from past experiences, or simply feeling overwhelmed, my passion is creating a space where you don't have to carry it all alone. Together, we'll make room for both the challenges and the victories, helping you reconnect with your strengths and move toward a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and empowering. I blend compassion with practical tools to help clients navigate life's challenges. I believe healing often happens through understanding ourselves, our relationships, and the environments and experiences that shape us.

As a Chicana therapist, I recognize the importance of culture, identity, family values, and lived experiences in shaping who we are. I strive to provide culturally responsive care that honors each client's unique background and experiences while creating an inclusive space where all individuals feel seen, respected, and valued.

It is a privilege to be entrusted with your story, and I don't take that responsibility lightly. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, respected, heard, and supported while also encouraging meaningful growth and self-reflection.

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, and my hope is to help break down those barriers so you can gain clarity, build confidence, and recognize your own resilience. Life is heavy, but not every therapy session needs to feel draining. I believe therapy can hold space for both difficult conversations and moments of laughter, hope, and celebration. Together, we'll build on your strengths, develop practical coping strategies, and work toward creating a life that feels authentic, fulfilling, and aligned with your values.

What you can expect from me

A first sessions can feel a little like meeting someone new; exciting, a little nerve-wracking, and sometimes unsure of what to expect. My goal is to make that first step feel comfortable and remind you that you do not have to show up with everything figured out.

Our first session will be a chance for us to get to know each other, talk about what brought you to therapy, and begin understanding your story, your experiences, and what you hope to create moving forward. We will explore what has been challenging, what has helped you cope, and the strengths you already bring with you.

Therapy is a collaborative process, and our first session is about building a foundation for our work together. My hope is that you leave feeling welcomed, heard, and encouraged that you do not have to navigate life's challenges alone.
