Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Cassie, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Colorado. I work with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship distress, life transitions, and patterns that leave them feeling stuck or disconnected. I earned my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and have experience working with a wide range of relational and emotional concerns.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that meaningful change comes from understanding not only what we are experiencing, but the deeper patterns and experiences that shape how we relate to ourselves and others. I draw from evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), EMDR, DBT, and Gottman-informed interventions, tailoring treatment to each client’s individual needs.

I especially enjoy helping clients develop greater insight, heal from painful experiences, strengthen relationships and boundaries, and create lasting changes that extend beyond the therapy room. My goal is to provide a space where clients feel genuinely understood while also being supported and challenged as they work toward meaningful growth.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and compassionate while also being active and intentional. I believe therapy is most effective when clients feel genuinely understood and supported while also being encouraged to explore patterns, develop new perspectives, and make meaningful changes in their lives.

I specialize in working with individuals and couples experiencing anxiety, trauma, relationship distress, attachment concerns, betrayal trauma, and difficult life transitions. My work often focuses on helping clients understand the deeper patterns that influence their emotions, relationships, and responses to stress. I integrate approaches such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), EMDR, DBT, and Gottman-informed interventions based on each client's needs and goals.

Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I work collaboratively with clients to identify what is keeping them stuck, build on their existing strengths, and develop practical tools for creating lasting change. I strive to balance deeper emotional work with tangible strategies clients can use in their everyday lives.

What you can expect from me

I strive to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients can feel comfortable being authentic while also feeling appropriately challenged to grow. Together, we identify meaningful goals based on what you want to be different in your life, whether that means reducing anxiety, healing from past experiences, strengthening relationships, establishing healthier boundaries, or feeling more confident and connected to yourself.

My goal is not simply to help you manage symptoms, but to help you better understand the patterns beneath them and develop lasting skills and insight. Over time, I hope clients leave therapy feeling more equipped to navigate difficult emotions, communicate their needs, trust themselves, and respond to life's challenges in healthier and more intentional ways.
