Great to meet you!

Hello! I'm Cassandra and I am an LPC in Virginia with over 9 years of practice. I graduated with a Masters of Professional Counseling from Ottawa University. My practice is primarily focused on treating adults who experience anxiety, depression and have a history of trauma. I see adults of all backgrounds and have worked with many BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ adults throughout my career.

My approach to therapy

I help clients to facilitate a deeper understanding of themselves, by encouraging them to identify what motivates their behaviors, and how to make the necessary changes they can't seem to make stick on their own. My clients will recognize that the world is not black or white but has numerous shades of gray, and while that can be scary to some, it helps many to conceptualize their experiences in ways that allow them to heal.

What you can expect from me

My clients want to reframe their thoughts and understand life from a different perspective. They want to feel empowered to overcome the self-defeating thoughts that have caused them to stagnate in their lives. My clients feel motivated to take charge of their lives and supported by me in their journey.
