Great to meet you!

I work with adults navigating ADHD, including Millennials, Gen Z, and college students. Many of the clients I work with are navigating emotional regulation challenges, relationship difficulties, rejection sensitivity, people-pleasing, academic stress, and patterns shaped by upbringing and cultural experiences. My approach is neurodivergent-affirming and culturally responsive, recognizing that ADHD can influence relationships, communication, self-esteem, academic performance, and daily functioning in ways that are often misunderstood.

Together, we explore how your experiences, environment, and nervous system interact while making sense of the patterns that keep showing up in your life. Whether you're navigating the transition to adulthood, college life, relationships, work, or major life changes, therapy can provide a space to better understand yourself and move through challenges with greater clarity and self-compassion.

In addition to my Master's in Counseling Psychology from Hope International University, I hold a Master's in Higher Education with a concentration in Student Development and have over a decade of experience working in higher education. This background informs my work with college students and young adults as they navigate academic, personal, and developmental transitions.

My approach to therapy

My approach is relational, direct, and collaborative. I believe therapy works best when there is an authentic connection and a shared commitment to understanding what’s keeping you stuck while building practical ways to move forward.

I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), relational therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, psychodynamic therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). Through these approaches, I help clients better navigate emotional overwhelm, conflict, and recurring relationship dynamics while strengthening emotional regulation, communication, and self-awareness.

Therapy with me is a space to be honest, reflective, and supported without judgment. Together, we’ll explore both the deeper patterns shaping your experiences and the practical tools that can help you feel more grounded, connected, and empowered in your daily life.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and talk through what’s bringing you to therapy. We’ll discuss your current concerns, relationship patterns, emotional experiences, and any goals you may have for therapy so we can begin creating a clear direction for our work together.

I also want to understand the broader context of your life, including cultural experiences, family dynamics, and how ADHD may be impacting your day-to-day functioning, relationships, or sense of self. My goal is to create a grounded, supportive environment where you feel comfortable showing up as yourself, without pressure or judgment, while we begin building a strong therapeutic connection.
