Great to meet you!

Greetings and Welcome! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia with a deep commitment to supporting the emotional well-being of individuals, families, and communities. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University and my Master of Arts in Community Counseling from Argosy University.

Before transitioning into the mental health field, I worked as an elementary school teacher in a BIPOC school in Atlanta, Georgia. This experience profoundly shaped my understanding of the importance of social and emotional wellness and its lasting impact on personal growth, resilience, and long-term success.

Since beginning my counseling career in 2013, I have had the privilege of working in a variety of settings, including psychological centers, elementary schools, Job Corps, nursing homes, and Head Start programs. I provide therapy to children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples, tailoring my approach to meet each client’s unique needs and goals.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic style is integrative and collaborative, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy. I also incorporate practical strategies for stress management, mindfulness, mood regulation, anxiety reduction, self-esteem building, empowerment, and achieving a healthy work–life balance.

What you can expect from me

At the core of my work is a genuine commitment to listening and creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and valued. I believe every individual has a unique story and the capacity for growth. My goal is to help clients gain insight, develop effective coping tools, and move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life
