Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s in Counseling from Alcorn State University and experience working in community mental health and school settings. I help children, adolescents, and adults navigate anxiety, depression, anger, trauma, family conflict, behavioral concerns, and life transitions. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s individual needs. My goal is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can recognize their strengths, develop practical coping skills, and work toward meaningful personal growth.

My approach to therapy

My counseling style is warm, compassionate, and collaborative, providing clients with a safe and nonjudgmental space to express themselves. I tailor each session to the client’s age and individual needs using cognitive behavioral techniques, solution-focused therapy, mindfulness, emotional regulation, and coping-skills development. I specialize in helping children, adolescents, and adults manage anxiety, depression, anger, trauma, behavioral concerns, family conflict, relationship challenges, and life transitions. My goal is to help clients recognize their strengths, respond to stress in healthier ways, and create meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, you can expect a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment. We will discuss what brought you to counseling, your current concerns, personal strengths, and what you hope to accomplish. Together, we will begin identifying goals and developing a treatment approach tailored to your individual needs. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about your next steps.
