Great to meet you!

You deserve a therapist who sees your whole story, not just the part that's struggling. Whether you're working through trauma, managing anxiety or depression, strengthening a relationship, or seeking affirming care as an LGBTQIA+ individual or couple from a diverse background, you belong here. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor who has worked across inpatient, residential, and outpatient settings since earning my MA from Webster University in 2018. I am certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and hold specialized training supporting clients with complex trauma. I am committed to providing culturally responsive, nonjudgmental care that honors your identity, community, and lived experience, because healing happens best when you feel genuinely seen and respected.

My approach to therapy

The framework of my therapy style is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. In your first session, we will spend time getting to know each other and exploring your reasons for pursuing therapy. Based on your needs, our sessions will focus on understanding the connections between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. For trauma, I use Trauma-Focused CBT to help you process what happened at a pace that feels safe. For couples and families, I draw on Cognitive Behavioral Family Therapy and Gottman Method approaches to strengthen communication and deepen connection. We will also build practical strategies to support your mental and emotional well being between sessions

What you can expect from me

Our first session is yours. I will invite you to share what brought you here, in your own words and at your own pace. Together we will identify the areas most important to focus on and set clear goals for our work. Most people leave that first conversation with a sense of relief, just from finally being heard without judgment. You do not need to have it all figured out before we begin. You just need to show up.
