Great to meet you!

About Me

I believe everyone deserves a safe place to be heard, understood, and supported. As a Certified Mental Health Counselor with over 20 years of experience, I help adolescents, young adults, and adults navigate life’s challenges and create meaningful change. My career began as a middle school counselor, followed by my work with LDS Family Services, where I supported individuals, couples, and families experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, mood disorders, and addictions. I have maintained my private practice for over 10 years.

I earned my BA in Psychology from the University of Utah and my MA in Educational Counseling from the University of Phoenix, where I completed the requirements for CMHC licensure.

Healing Hearts, Restoring Hope, Trauma Therapy

Trauma can affect emotional well-being, relationships, and daily life. I provide a safe, compassionate space for teens and adults to process difficult experiences, develop healthy coping skills, and move toward healing and resilience.

Cultivating Resilience, Inspiring Growth — Women's Counseling

Counseling offers women a supportive place to explore emotions, strengthen self-esteem and self-compassion, establish healthy boundaries, and build more fulfilling relationships.

Let Your Voice Be Heard — Teen Counseling

Adolescence can bring significant emotional, social, academic, and relationship challenges. I help teens feel heard, understand their emotions, work through challenges, and develop confidence and healthy coping skills.

My approach to therapy

My Approach

I believe meaningful change begins with feeling safe, heard, and understood. My approach is compassionate and collaborative, with an emphasis on helping clients gain insight, challenge unhelpful patterns, build confidence, and develop practical skills that support lasting growth and emotional well-being.

What you can expect from me

My goal during our first session is to create a safe environment where you will feel heard, understood, and empowered to explore your concerns, recognize your strengths, and develop healthier ways of coping and relating to others. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or ready for a positive change, you don’t have to navigate it alone. Reach out today to schedule a consultation and take the first step toward greater self-understanding, healing, and hope.
